On August 6, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Minister of Construction Irek Faizullin, general manager of Talleres Felipe Verdes, S.A. took part in solemn opening ceremony of a new ceramic brick-making plant at CJSC “Stroiservice” in Mamadysh (Republic of Tatarstan).
Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov said that after launching, capacity of the new plant will reach 60 million bricks per year. The President noted that ceramic brick is a modern and high-demand construction material. He thanked Spanish partners, as well as investors for assistance in modernization of production.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the new plant has been opened on the eve of Constructor’s Day and congratulated all constructors with their professional holiday.
Mamadysh plant is the second plant in Republic of Tatarstan fully-equipped with Verdes equipment. For more than six years, in Verkhneuslonsky district of this Republic, another manufacturer of high quality facing bricks on Verdes equipment is in operation — FON plant.
